Notebook Programs
Introduction
Trident Computer Services provides Acer and Hewlett Packard
notebooks into student, teacher and class set notebook
programs.
Trident’s role is to provide superior service, enhance
communication through effective account management and work
with the school community to bring forward new technologies.
Trident has extensive experience in providing support from
vendors in School Notebook programs. Trident is confident
that it can harness the potential of the Acer & HP program to
give many benefits to the School through is proactive
participation.
Trident in Education

With increasing emphasis on delivering Web/Portal based
product, curriculum and services, Trident believes it can
add real value to the relationship.
Trident and Notebook Programs
Trident offer a number of initiatives within its notebook
program offering and recognise the importance of
relationships in the program. We offer the following within
our program:
• On line database with insurance and warranty information
• Weekly email detailing insurance and warranty information
• Option of both "On Site" and "Return to Base" warranty service
• Insurance and warranty parts from same stock source
• Dedicated insurance account manager
• Training for School technicians
• Loan notebooks
• Monthly reporting
• Asset tagging
• ‘In resident’ days where Trident provides a number of
technicians each term for students to bring their notebooks
for a proactive checking. A letter will go home to parents
to show what has been done, what should be done and
suggested care techniques
Trident Service Levels
Trident, through consignment stock and the purchase of
buffer stock, will actively monitor the needs of the program
and make adjustments as required. Trident has existing
database monitoring systems to manage the needs of multiple
sites and can meet any increased manpower demands.
Furthermore, we are cognisant of the need to work
effectively with the whole school community (staff students
and parents) and we are confident that the account
management team, help desk co-ordination and internal
escalation processes will ensure reliable communication and
follow-up.

of the servicing agent is critical. Trident believes it
