Ballarat Clarendon College replaced its ageing existing storage with two new HP 3PAR Storage systems, tripling the performance and improving user experience in the classroom. Performance is a key requirement for the college, for example to minimise latency at busy times such as when the children log in at the start of the day. Most classes have an electronic whiteboard, and possibly use video and internet connections.
“The HP 3PAR Storage System has taken it to a new level,” says Adam Ryan, ICT and project manager. “Start up time is almost non-existent. We’ve had good feedback from the staff, and we can deliver a better experience in the classroom.”
Trident Computer Services proposed and installed the new solution ensuring scalability for future expansion, and high availability using Remote Copy software replicating all data to a disaster recovery environment.Read the full Ballarat Clarendon College Case Study
